The Belmont Press Colour Standards

Our reputation rests on the work we produce. Therefore the standards we set ourselves are the highest.

All material printed at Belmont Press is colour matched, monitored and maintained according to the specifications detailed in the ISO standard 12647 part 2.

Your agency or designer can specify the lighting requirements, angle of reflection etc. when supplying your files. If these are not available we will view your work under standard daylight lighting conditions, the same as we have previously used to produce your work. The difference is that the work will continue to be quality checked using colour viewing technology in addition to the quality checks that take place conventionally.

ISO 12647 part 2 is the colour measurement standard that we work to. The standard requires us to measure sheets for colour accuracy during the print run. A spectrophotometer is used to record these values. A record of colour variation during the length of the run is maintained.
