This one-day course is aimed at anyone who is interested in learning more about reprographics, paper and print.
The day is divided into two sessions:
The morning session: consists of a series of presentations outlining all the stages involved in colour lithographic printing; from design through to print; from choosing the right paper, to how it is bound.
The afternoon session: a conducted tour around Belmont Press viewing the latest technology being used for digital and online proofing, litho printing and finishing. Lamination, die cutting and creasing, folding, saddle stitching, perfect binding, thread sewing and wire binding are all demonstrated during the walk-about.
